Marbleized Design

Oh how I love me a gorgeous marble design. Last year in Florence, I saw tons of Florentine Marble Paper, which was gorgeous. It has such a whimsical touch to it, whether it's in your closet or your home, you can't go wrong...

I am seriously considering purchasing this pillow from Etsy. It was love at first sight.

White marble will be forever in vogue:
I love this idea. Nick Olsen used marbleized paper and glued it to an IKEA coffee table. Brilliant!

The above image and this little tutorial from Martha was found via one of my favorite blogs, Little Green Notebook. How fun would it be to make your own marbleized paper?? Now if there were just 38 hours in a day instead of that pesky 24 business...

After making it, wouldn't it be perfect artwork?

I'd love to get my hands on some marbleized fabric and make pretty much anything I can wear out of it. This dress is gorg from Rodarte:
Cute maxi for summer from Modcloth:

This is a little more on the beauty side than fashion, but nonetheless, I love it. I'm not one to do fancy pants creations on my nails, but this is pretty cool:

Quickly becoming my archnemesis, I loved this marbled tank from Asos, but of course they don't have my size. When do they ever have my size???

I'm off to marble me some paper! Not really, but I'd love to do that right now...

  1. I love marbling. My mom, sister and I used to get marbled nails way back around 10 years ago. This makes me want to do it again. And the marbled artwork, table and Rodarte dress are all making me very happy right now!
